An OC News Article page has 3 templates to choose from: OC Default, OC Full Width or OC With Full Width Image.

OC News Article Template Name dropdown menu

Choose the template that's right for you from the Template Name drop-down. If you want to preview your page with the template applied, Save your changes before you select Preview.

Template Options

OC Default:

  • 2-column news page
  • Left column includes an image and wrapped WYSIWYG content (image approx. 480px wide)
  • Right column includes related links and documents

This template works for any kind of news page.

News page with default template

OC Full Width:

  • Full-width news page
  • This template includes an image and wrapped WYSIWYG content (image approx. 480px wide)
  • Bottom of the page includes related links and documents

Use this template when you don't have any supporting links, or when you want them to be the last thing your users see.

News page with full width template

OC With Full Width Image:

  • 2-column news page
  • Left column includes an image with WYSIWYG content below the image (image approx. 900px wide)
  • Right column includes related links and documents

Use this template for news with an eye-catching image.

We recommend choosing one template for all news articles and noting this in your internal style guide, allowing you and your team of content authors to create news articles that have a consistent layout. This will make them more readable and provide a better user experience.
