An OC General page has four templates: OC Full Width, OC Full Width Without Image, OC 2 Column, and OC 2 Column Without Image.
Choose your desired template from the Template Name drop-down menu. If you want to preview your page with the template applied, Save it before you press Preview.
OC 2 Column Template
This template is useful for short pages, and your community will be able to quickly see and visit the other pages in the section. It features:
- 2-column page with a left-hand navigation menu and main content area.
- Main image wrapped by WYSIWYG content (we recommend an image width of at least 480 px).
- Side panel content is displayed below the WYSIWYG content area.
- Supporting links and documents are displayed under Related Information, below the WYSIWYG content area.
OC 2 Column Without Image
This template is useful for pages that are an important part of a group. However, this template works better for pages that need more room for body content.
- 2-column page with a left-hand navigation menu and main content area.
- Side panel content is displayed below the WYSIWYG content.
- Supporting links and documents displayed under Related Information, below the WYSIWYG content.
OC Full Width
Use this template for pages with a lot of important WYSIWYG content and embedded content such as maps, videos, forms, or calendars.
- Full-width page area – no on-page navigation menu.
- Main image wrapped by WYSIWYG content (we recommend an image width of at least 480 px).
- Side panel content appears in the right-hand column. If there is no side panel, the WYSIWYG content expands to full-width.
- Supporting links and documents display under Related Information in right-side column, below any side panel content.
Note: if there is no side panel content, Related Information falls below the WYSIWYG content area.
OC Full Width Without Image
Use this template for pages with a lot of important WYSIWYG content and embedded content such as maps, videos, forms, or calendars.
- Full-width page area – no on-page navigation menu.
- Side panel content appears in the right-hand column. If there is no side panel, the WYSIWYG content expands to full-width.
- Supporting links and documents display under Related Information in the right-side column, below any side panel content.
Note: if there is no side panel content, Related Information falls below the WYSIWYG content area.
Please note that all content in the right-hand side panel will fall below the main body content when viewed on a mobile or tablet device. Additionally, when general pages with a 2-column template are viewed on a mobile device, the left-hand navigation menu will not display.
