Manage the Development Applications module

This task can be undertaken by users with the following roles: OC Site Manager and OC System Administrator.

You can manage settings for the Development Applications module from Site Management.

  1. From the main menu, go to More > Site Management > your site > Settings
  2. Select Development Applications

  3. Make your changes
  4. Save your changes

Settings for the Development Applications module

Location of the current listing page

Use this field to indicate the current or global development applications listing page.

Enter the unique URL of the development applications listing page. For example, [Public]/Building/Development-Applications/Current-Applications

This is a predictive text field, so start typing the Page name of your current or global listing page and then select it from the list.

Note: if you only have a listing page with the template OC Development Applications, you will need to enter that page into this field as well.

Location of the past listing page

Enter the unique URL of the past development applications listing page, e.g. [Public]/Building/Development-Applications/Past-Applications

Note: if you only have a listing page with the template OC Development Application, you can leave this field blank.

Category

Add a new option in the Enter new value field. 

You can delete our preset categories or drag them to change their order in the list.

Status

Add a new option in the Enter new value field. 

You can delete our preset categories or drag them to change their order in the list.

Decision

Add a new option in the Enter new value field. 

You can delete our preset categories or drag them to change their order in the list.

Authors must comment upon publishing? Select this option to make it mandatory for authors to add a comment about their changes before publishing the page.
Feedback form

Choose how feedback forms are treated:

Disabled: Feedback forms will not show on development application pages.

Turn on and show on pages by default: The feedback form will automatically be shown on OC Development Application pages, with the option to turn it off.

Turn on but hide on pages by default: The feedback form will not show on OC Development Application pages, with the option to turn it on.

Form to use for feedback If you have multiple page feedback forms, select which one to use for development application pages.

Page discussions

(Community Engagement module – premium)

Choose how page discussions are treated:

Disabled: Page discussions will not show on development applications pages.

Turn on and use site-wide setting: This is the default status for page discussions in Site Management (More > Site Management > your site > Settings > Page Discussions > Site-wide setting). The 2 settings available are:

Turn on and show on pages by default: Page discussions will automatically be shown on OC Development Application pages, with the option to turn it off.

Turn on but hide on pages by default: Page discussions will not show on OC Development Application pages, with the option to turn it on.

Page subscriptions

(Subscriptions module)

Choose how page subscriptions are treated:

Disabled: Page subscriptions will not show on development applications pages.

Turn on and use site-wide setting: This is the default status for page subscriptions in Site Management (More > Site Management > your site > Settings Subscriptions > Site-wide setting for pages). The 2 settings available are:

Related content

Choose how Related content is treated:

Disabled: Related content will not show on development application pages.

Turn on and use site-wide setting: This is the default status for related content in Site Management (More > Site Management > your site > Settings Related content > Site-wide setting). The 2 settings available are:

Turn on and show on pages by default: Related content will automatically be shown on OC Development Application pages, with the option to turn it off.

Turn on but hide on pages by default: Related content will not show on OC Development Application pages, with the option to turn it on.
