The Bids and Tenders module lets you present open and awarded bids and tenders to your community. The module uses the OC Module Interface content type to list tenders and the OC Bids and Tenders content type to provide details about the tender.
See it in action: check out the bids and tenders listing page and a bids and tenders page on our demo site.
This module is free and optional, so you'll need to install it on any sites that need it. Once you have installed the module, you must create listing pages for open and awarded bids and tenders.
Please note that the bids and tenders module lists your open and awarded tenders. It is not a submission or management portal. You’ll need to set up an external portal with a third-party service to manage incoming bids and tenders.
Create a Listing Page
You'll need to create two listing pages before you start making bids and tenders pages; for a complete module, you'll need a listing page for open tenders and one for awarded tenders.
- Right-click in the site tree where you want to create the listing page(s), then select Create Page.
- Choose OC Module Interface as the content type.
- From the Template Name drop-down menu, select OC Bids and Tenders - Current for open tenders or OC Bids and Tenders - Awarded for awarded tenders.
- Fill out the necessary page fields.
- Publish your page.
Repeat this process for your second listing page, choosing the opposite template you chose the first time. Remember to enter the location of your listing pages into the Bids and Tenders module settings, which will create automatic links between the two pages.
Bids and Tenders Listing Templates
There are two templates available for the bids and tenders module:
OC Bids and Tenders - Current:

|
OC Bids and Tenders - Awarded:

All bids and tenders pages are listed on the current listing page until their Has the bid or tender been awarded? checkbox has been marked, at which point they are transferred to the awarded list.
