If you use govDelivery to communicate with and manage your subscribers, you can now use the govDelivery x OpenCities integration to send email notifications directly from your OpenCities admin.
This integration uses govDelivery’s standard bulletins and Topic subscriber lists to help you manage email notifications. You can also use Subscriber Capture or Quick Subscribe to embed or link a subscription sign-up form on your OpenCities site.
Our integration with govDelivery lets you:
- Switch seamlessly from the OpenCities Subscriptions module to the govDelivery integration.
- Create bulletin templates for each supported content type to ensure consistent messaging.
- Sync Topic lists from your govDelivery account.
- Utilize header and footer templates created in govDelivery.
- Capture subscribers on your OpenCities website and manage them in govDelivery.
- Create, schedule, and send relevant notifications about new and updated OpenCities website content to govDelivery topic subscribers directly from the OpenCities admin.
This premium integration is only available for American counties and councils; please submit a support case, and we'll install it for you.
We will globally install the integration to all your OpenCities sites, but your OC Site Manager or OC System Administrator must configure it for each site. Please note that once we install the connector, you cannot uninstall it.
Once the integration has been installed and set up, you can sync existing topics from govDelivery and create bulletin templates for your content types.
