Export Files from the Files Library
Site Managers can now export files from the Files Library. You can export a ZIP file containing your files with your choice of file types, folders and subfolders, and language options. Once you export, OpenCities will prepare the ZIP file in the background as you get on with your work, and a link to download the file will be emailed to you.
Pull or Override Alt Text from the Files Library
Content authors now have the option to override the alt text when adding an image to a page via image upload fields and link fields, such as those used in image galleries.
By default, alt text will be pulled from the files library, and content authors can check the box to override and add their own. If they use the alt text from the library, every subsequent update made to the image in the library will be reflected on each page with the image attached. This update will be implemented for new files linked to pages; any existing images attached to pages will be marked as overridden to maintain existing alt text.
Warning for Large Files in Admin
Content authors will now see a warning message when attempting to use images with a file size above the default limit of 25 MB.
Additionally, they will be unable to publish files larger than the maximum size set in More > Content Types > [file type].
These restrictions apply to images in the File Library and image upload fields, like the main page image field.
