With the Fees and Charges module installed, and your fees imported into your site, you can start inserting them into content pages. There are several display options:

  • Display basic information for a single fee in text

  • Display a single fee as a standalone accordion

  • Display multiple fees in accordions, with the option to filter using categories and tags

Once a fee is inserted, any updates made in More > Fees and charges will be reflected on the page. However, if you need to change which fees display on the page, you will need to remove it in the WYSIWYG Editor and re-insert the correct fee.

Display a Single Fee

  1. Create or Update a page, open the WYSIWYG Editor, and place your cursor where you want to insert the fee.
  2. Select the Insert Fees icon.insert fees icon.png
  3. Choose Single fee and select Next.single fee.png
  4. Choose the fee Name from the list and select Next. You can use the search option or filter by Categories or Tags if you have a long list of fees.select single fee.png
  5. Choose how you want to display the single fee:
    • Inline: Display the fee Amount and Unit within a sentence.inline.png
    • Standalone element: Display all available fee information within a standalone accordion panel. By default, the fee name, category, amount, and unit will be shown; you can also select Next and check the relevant box to include the Subcategory, GST (Goods and Services Tax), and Notes.standalone fee information.png
  6. Select Insert. The fee will appear as a green widget box within the text if it's Inline or as a separate widget box if it's Standalone.
  7. When you're ready, select Save Content And Close, then Save and Preview your page.

Display Multiple Fees

  1. Create or Update a page, open the WYSIWYG Editor, and place your cursor where you want to insert the fees.
  2. Select the Insert Fees icon.insert fees icon.png
  3. Choose Multiple fees and select Next.multiple fees.png
  4. Use the predictive text field to choose the Categories to include. Any fees with at least one chosen category will display.multiple categories.png
  5. If required, further filter your list by selecting Some under Tags to include and use the predictive text field to choose your tags.tags to include.png
  6. Select Insert. The fees will appear as a green widget box listing the categories and tags you included.
  7. When you're ready, select Save Content And Close, then Save and Preview your page.

Multiple fees display as accordions, with one accordion panel for each selected category. The panel will show the category name and the number of fees within that category. Expanding the accordion will show a nested panel for each fee, which are expandable to see all the fee details. This structure allows you to display multiple levels of categorization and improves the scannability of long fee lists, while avoiding a long scroll of information for site visitors.multiple fees live.png

After a fee has been inserted to a page, any updates made to those fees in More > Fees and charges will automatically be applied to any page on which the fee is inserted. Deleting a fee, will completely remove it from the live site, and the widget box in the WYSIWYG Editor will show "Fee information unavailable."
