Fees and Charges Module

In this release, we are introducing a new module for cities and councils in Australia and New Zealand. The Fees and Charges module allows users with the OC Site Manager or the new OC Fees and Charges Manager role to import a list of council fees using our CSV template

Once imported, fee information can be inserted into content pages and will be updated automatically whenever the fees are updated in More > Fees and charges. We have created a detailed organization system using categories and tags, so you can choose to list all fees or create highly specific lists for targeted pages.

Accessibility

We have improved our built-in accessibility checker, so the Content Report will now display the field label as seen by content authors instead of the field name. For example, when checking an OC Event page, the report message will show issues with "Add event image" instead of the "OC Page Image."

Bug Fixes

Please see our detailed changelog below for the complete list of bug fixes.

OpenCities Detailed Changelog

Site Administration and Modules

  • The Fees and Charges module is now available for use in the ANZ region. OC Site Managers and OC Fee and Charges Managers can import fees using our template and content authors can insert them into pages.
  • The Enable mandatory "Alt Text" setting will now be enforced for images on pages that are imported. This setting is found in More > Site Management > your site > Settings > Site Settings.

Content Editing and Publishing

  • When the site-wide accessibility checker is turned on, the Content Report now uses the field or content type assigned label instead of the field name. This is to help clarify what the issue may be by using labels that content authors can recognize.
  • Fixed an issue in which start and end dates were appearing incorrectly when a time span or multiple dates were selected for events in Intranets.
